What changed
Kimi (Moonshot AI) has announced that new membership plans are coming soon that will separate Kimi chat benefits from Kimi Code benefits. Existing subscribers are unaffected for now, but new subscribers should watch for the change.

What this means for you
If you're already subscribed: your current plan is safe. Kimi says existing subscribers are unaffected.
If you're considering Kimi: you can still buy the current plan before the new structure launches. The Allegro tier ($99/mo) is the sweet spot — it unlocks K3's full 1M context window and Kimi Code.
If you're a developer: the API pricing ($3/$15 per 1M tokens for K3) is separate and unaffected by this change.
