Luma Dream Machine Drops Its Free Plan; Paid Plans Now Start at $25/mo
Before
Free tier; Lite from ~$10/mo
After
No free plan; Plus $25/mo yearly ($30 monthly)
What changed
Luma's pricing page now shows three paid plans and no free tier. The old Lite plan (about $10/mo) is gone. We spotted the change in our September 27 re-check.
Current pricing
| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly billing |
|---|---|---|
| Plus | $30/mo | $25/mo ($300/yr) |
| Pro | $90/mo | $75/mo ($900/yr) |
| Ultra | $300/mo | $250/mo ($3,000/yr) |
What this means for you
Luma has moved upmarket. Budget video creators should look at Kling (from $8.80/mo) or Pika (from $8/mo yearly) instead.
